the Darling Derby

The Darling Derby is exactly like the Pinewood Derby. My car is totally yellow. Completely. Yellow yellow yellow. Thats what it is a yellow car.[ Unless you call a small line of white glitter a different color.]

Baylie's car is nothing like mine her's is all kinds of colors. Like a flower. My car is just yellow with yellow glitter on the top. Everyone is excited for the Darling Derby to start. This is my first Darling  Derby. I am super excited.

My dad the biggest help with our cars. He cut them into the shape, and is going to put the wheels on the car. Mom helped us paint the cars. Now the Darling Derby is just three days away! I think everyone else is done or almost done. I just can't wait for the Darling Derby.

band

I love band. Its so cool. You get to learn how to play a new instrument. Because of band I now know how to play the trumpet.

To play the trumpet you need to:

  1. Oil it once a week.
  2. Practice every day.[Even though I don't do that. Hey! I at least try!]
  3. And make sure your little sisters don't dent it. Seriously. It can break the trumpet.
Its hard to do that 3rd one. Well they're all hard to do, but then later its all worth the hard work.

Awesome rocks! :) :) :)

No, I'm serious. They're actually rocks. Real big ones too. Like, bigger than boulders. We climbed them today. You should try to go there sometime.

When we were climbing the rocks, Mom kept on saying that she'll soon have a heart attack if she sees us climbing really high on some rocks. Once I was thinking about tricking her by pretending I fell down some rocks and I scraped myself up super bad. I almost did, but Luke said that I shouldn't so I didn't .( I wasn't going to do it anyway. )

So when we were at the rock place, it was super-duper sunny out. But not too sunny. When we were climbing, Luke was ahead of everybody [most of the time.] . Then I followed him, Baylie followed me, Paisley followed her, Dad and Ivy followed her, then Mom followed them. Lots of following right?

There was this one big rock that was the first one we climbed was the biggest. Well I think. And that's the rock when Mom worried the most.

When we got there, we saw some people at the top of the biggest rock mountain. That was mostly that part that got me excited the most.

You should really go to the rocks sometime, it's fun and good exercise. If I liked it, maybe you would too!

Some crazy stitches

BOY! When Ivy got stitches everything went so fast that I had no idea whatsoever what was going on. But I at least got some idea what was happening.

My family and friends and I just got out of the theater from watching the movie HOME [I LOVED that movie so much!]and so we were all hanging out and all and there was a group of boys and Ivy started to walk to them. When she was about to enter the middle of the group someone[named Baylie]tripped her on accident and she fell flat on her face.

When I saw her, her chin was bleeding really bad and she was crying. :( We went home as fast as we can. The bleeding kept on going and so did the crying. I really felt bad for her. Like, who wouldn't?

When we got home, Mom said that Luke and I had to babysit so she could take Ivy to the doctors. She said that Ivy would need at east three stitches on her chin. You know what that means? That means PARTY TIME!!!!!

So all we did was lay down and watched a movie.

At first Luke wanted to watch The ROCKETEER but then he changed his mind and we watched the Master of Disguise instead. While watching that, I soon figured out that I wanted to be a Master of Disguise. [Someone add that to my list!]

So when Ivy got home we all looked at her stitches even though there was a band aid over it. Later we saw that Mom was correct! She had three stitches on her chin. Now all she needs is two more stitches in two more different places.[She has thee stitches in all] Well at least I'm glad not to have even one!

Football

Whenever I think about football I think "How can everyone understand this!" Now I'm taking some lessons and now I get it.

Dad Mom and Luke are giving me some lessons.  But I still have millions of trillions of questions.

Sometimes during games I get bored of the game and then I get pretty jumpy. I get super bored when I think I know the game and the future of it. It's like your #1 team, but your losing to #4. It's so horrible!

Well anyway I still like it though I'm learning.
